The solaro is a british fabric that is often beige/slightly red (in the most popular version but other colors are possible), has the particularity of reflecting away the sun. Indeed, the weaving of this cool wool cloth mixes two colored threads allowing to create this “shiny” look that reflects the light. So the solaro is a very good choice for summer suits. It is by the way a more interesting alternative to cotton and/or linen suits that are more subjected to creasing.
The photo features a magnificent double breasted suit in solaro by Stile Latino, one of the few sartoria that still traditionally realizes ready-to-wear suits.
